Many Nigerian women have had their fair share of neglect, lack, struggling families, abuse, low self-esteem, and a gloomy outlook on the future.
Oluwayemisi was not left out. Growing up in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria, was tough and rough. She had to serve her way through the university. But she was resolute to finish the tiresome journey.
Now working as a School Counsellor with the Lagos State Teaching Service Commission, she equips students to live their best lives. This has morphed into The Intentional Girl Leadership and Empowerment Foundation (TIGLEF).
TIGLEF equips African girls and women with education, mentorship, advocacy, and community support to build resilience, lead with purpose, and create lasting generational impact.
